Jettie is built by Rebel & Bliss Studio, LLC. This policy explains what information the Jettie app collects, how it is used, and your rights around it. It is written in plain language, because you deserve to actually understand what happens with your data.
Jettie collects the minimum information required to make the app work: your email for sign-in, and a small set of goal-related settings you choose yourself during onboarding. On Android, Jettie reads which app is in the foreground to know when to interrupt — that check happens on your device and is not sent anywhere. On iOS, Jettie uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls) to monitor selected app usage within your chosen goal window. Jettie does not sell your data, does not serve ads from third-party ad networks, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Account information. When you create an account, Jettie stores your email address through Firebase Authentication (a service provided by Google). This is used solely to sign you into the app and to let you recover your account if you forget your password.
Goal and preference data. During onboarding and through the app's settings, you tell Jettie a few things so it can actually work:
This information is stored in Google Firestore, scoped to your account. Only you can read or edit it.
App usage detection (on your device only). To know when to interrupt doomscrolling, Jettie detects which app is currently in the foreground. This check runs entirely on your device. The apps you use, the time you spend in them, and the decisions Jettie makes about when to interrupt are not sent to our servers or to any third party. They never leave your phone. How this works differs by platform:
Technical and diagnostic data. If the app crashes, anonymous crash reports may be sent through Firebase so we can fix bugs. These reports contain information about the crash itself (stack traces, device model, OS version) but not personal information about you or your goals.
The permissions Jettie needs differ by platform.
On Android:
On iOS:
We use your data for one purpose: to make Jettie work as described in the app. This includes authenticating you, remembering your goal and preferences across sessions, showing accurate streaks and progress, firing goal-anchored interruptions, and sending your daily check-in notification.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with marketers.
Your account and preference data are stored on Google Firebase servers (Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Google's security infrastructure and privacy practices apply to this storage. Access to this data is restricted by Firebase security rules, so that only you can read or modify your own account.
These services have their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle data on our behalf.
You can, at any time:
Jettie is a general-audience productivity app. It is not directed to or intended for children, and we do not market it to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
Where app stores or applicable law provide us with age-category signals about a user, or where a parent or guardian withdraws consent for a minor, we will respond to those signals and restrict access or delete information as required by applicable children's and minors' privacy laws.
If you believe a child has created a Jettie account, please contact us and we will delete the account.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of Jettie after a change means you accept the updated policy.
